The Birds Movie Poster

This project was completed for Intermediate Graphic Design. The only stipulation given was that it had to have similar style of Saul Bass’s work. We had to come up with the concept, pick the movie to create poster for and design layout. Once work the design layout was complete it was taken to print. Actual poster size was 22 x 30. Bird cage and title was constructed using construction paper cut out and scanned in. Background birds were made by using India ink on paper with various brushes then scanned into the computer. Two focal birds were created by tracing a bird image and filled in with black.
